Join a workshop on January 24, 2024 at 6pm to create chicken scratch aka gingham embroidery aka depression lace. This geometric embroidery uses simple stitches to create an intricate and complex-looking pattern. This project features STEAM principles. As a part of the 20th Century Artist Series the workshop will also include a discussion of textile artist, Mariam Shapiro. The workshop will be at Remainders Creative Reuse in Pasadena.
