I am joining forces once again with Remainders Creative Reuse in Pasadena to teach a jewelry making class inspired by the work of Suzanne Belperron. Materials will be provided by Remainders, a nonprofit that accepts material donations to provide material resources for local creators and educators. It’s upcycling in action. I will be teaching beginner jewelry making to make a simple necklace.
This class is one in a series of classes taught by local female artists called Survey of 20th Century Women Artists. Each class features the work of one female artist of various ethnic backgrounds and a project. Learn more here about the whole series.
The class will be held at Remainders Creative Reuse in Pasadena on September 19 from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
Ages 13 and up (ages 8-12 may register and attend with a participating adult)
Price: $10.00
Made possible in part by the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission and the City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division
