Make It Work Print
“Make It Work” was originally conceived in 2017 as a sketch. I liked the phrase which came to mind while I was making my upcycled jewelry work in various ways. It is a versatile phrase that can be used for different reasons. It is neither positive nor negative. But it is a phrase about forward movement.
My first use of “Make It Work” was as an embroidered block print. You can learn more about my whole process in a previous post. My first piece included rose quartz and red coral beads. Rose quartz encourages love and red coral promotes wealth. This piece sits in my home to continue to manifest love and wealth in our home. The phrase lends itself to making our home work.
The design evolved into a surface print which I used for two different uses. “Make It Work” makes a great print which I can see as a cool blouse, or a fun sewing project. I feel a project perculating in my mind. This fabric was printed by Spoonflower, where it is available for purchase.
I also added “Make It Work” to my Society6 Shop for a variety of products. One of my favorite products is the yoga mat, which I use.
The other Society6 products include: bedding, furniture, wall art and phone cases. Even a sticker! Shop my Alyson Jon Life shop on Society6.
